Classes have resumed!
The Adult & Over 50’s classes are perfect for those who have never danced before or have not danced for many years, those who want to learn how to dance socially and those interested in competitive dancing who are just starting out. You do not need to have a partner to attend a class – both individuals and couples are welcome!
Your wedding day is pictured in your mind long before you decide to walk down the aisle. We can help you achieve the bridal dance you envisage whether it be a traditional bridal waltz or something everyone will remember.
The New Vogue class is designed for those that have danced New Vogue before. The classes concentrate on the more-complex dances, technique and frame to ensure you get the most out of your dancing.
Junior classes are for those aged between 6 and 15 years. The classes provide the perfect opportunity for children to develop their coordination skills, movement to music, correct posture and fitness level...and of course learn how to dance. It is also a great way for children to meet and socialise with others and make new friends.
Private lessons offer a personalised tuition with a teacher and are available to individuals, couples or small groups. The direct attention gained from private lessons often result in your dancing moving along at a faster pace than what it would in a group class.
The Canberra School of Dancing offers dance tuition in the Latin, Ballroom and New Vogue dance styles for children from the age of 6 years right through to the more mature-aged adult. The school caters for those wanting to dance either socially or competitively and offers a variety of group classes (children, adult and over 50’s), private lessons and customised sessions for corporate or school groups.
Dance is a great way to improve your fitness, meet new people, have fun and learn a fantastic sport. If you want to put more into life, why not come and give it a go!
